Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about allotments with some information specific to the Ash Parish Council allotment sites.
An allotment is a plot of land rented for the purpose of growing fruits, vegetables, and other plants. They are typically smaller than a full-fledged farm and are rented out by local councils, community groups, or private landowners.
Allotments are popular for growing your own food and enjoying nature whilst being part of a community of like-minded people.
Ash Parish Council are responsible for 2 Allotment sites, one in Harpers Road with 12 Plots and one in Shawfield Road with 98 plots.

All fees plus apportioned water charges
You can grow a variety of fruits (including fruit bushes and fruit trees), vegetables & other edible produce, and cut flowers, for the sole use of the tenant.
